About Us

CAMDEN WILDCAT QUARTERBACK CLUB

The Camden County Wildcat Quarterback Club was established in 1971 by a group of dedicated men and women who shared a passion for Camden County football and the Wildcats program. The organization was created to supplement and support the football program in its mission to provide the best possible experience for the young men and women who participate.

Since its founding, the Quarterback Club has played an important role in strengthening the Camden County football tradition through volunteer service, fundraising, and community support.The club’s first President was Fred Pilgrim, and many individuals have served in this leadership role over the years. Numerous members and volunteers have contributed their time and efforts to ensure the continued success of Camden County Wildcat football.The Camden County Wildcats have achieved significant success on the field, including winning the Georgia Class 5A State Championship in 2003, followed by back-to-back Class 5A State Championships in 2008 and 2009. Today, the Camden County Wildcat Quarterback Club proudly continues its mission of supporting the football program and its student-athletes.

The Quarterback Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides aid and support to the Camden County High School football program in several ways, including:

• “Feed the Team” post-practice meal program
• Pre-game team meals
• Preseason football camp support
• Annual end-of-season awards ceremony
• Varsity letter jackets for qualifying players
• Equipment purchases for the football program
• Assistance to Camden County middle school football programs
• Facility improvement projects at Chris Gilman Stadium
